Rusticoni, Sylvain

Since his childhood where he learnt to work with wood at his father’s studio he has become enthusiastic of string instruments and their sound.

In 1996 he completed his master in engineering.

In 2001 he acquired a diploma at the violin making school in Quebec which he had been attending for three years.

Since 2007 he has been improving his ability by working closely with Philippe Girardin in Neuchatel at his studio.

In 2004 parallel with his work with Philippe Girardin he established his own company, which is specialized in making violoncellos.

In 2011 he wins gold at the international violin making competition in Pisogne (I).
